Autumn Road Transport Rally
All forms of road transport – large and small – are invited along at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre on Sunday 8th October from 10am to 4pm.
Organisers of the Road Transport Rally say: “We welcome classic cars, buses and lorries – representing a wide range of eras and purposes.”
Other Heritage site attractions will be open as usual because NTHC is one of Ruddington’s family visitor attractions – from going on a miniature train ride to looking around the various heritage groups on-site, like the model railway (pictured).
It’s a great place for a day out because you’ll find “Nottingham Heritage Railway, Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS), Nottingham SMEE, Ruddington MRC, EMRT, Barnwrights & more.”
Also there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).
Please note: You are advised to check NTCH events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather). Email nthcevents@gmail.com and it has a Facebook page.

We run our calendar as a community service and details were correct at the time we promoted them, so advise you to contact the organiser before attending. Thanks.
